Nikon has brought forth a WiFi enabled camera Coolpix P1, 8 megapixels. The WiFi functionality in is provided by WiFi Transmitter in it. This camera transfers pictures only to a nearby computer or printer or both that happens to quite faste.

In order to use this Nikon’s image-management software has to installed which also includes a wireless-setup routine. The only drawback is that image transfers are slower than the USB transfers. Its Wi-Fi functionality is helpful for special applications like to print the photos as being shot on occasions. But for home users not much relevant.

The best advantage happens to be that the image quality is very good.

The sharpness in the images is provided by excellent lens-and-sensor combination.

Adjustment can be done for saturation, contrast, sharpening and to turn of it off also.



With others in the league also out with such products, how Nikon’ WiFi enable products fare needs to be seen.
