What risks actually Wi-Fi may bring in to the city dwellers? Before Toronto Hydro’s citywide Wi-Fi plan blanket the city and make it a giant Wi-Fi hotspot health officials want to examine the potential health effects of such wireless system which is supposed to send signal in every nook and corner of the city. As some residents of the city are worried with the new technology and think it would make them sick have asked Health Department officials to take the issue further. Toronto Public Health informed the Toronto Sun newspaper that the department is still in the early stage and it’s on the way to learn more about the project.



Hydro officials, however, pointed out that studies have earlier shown wireless to be a safe bet to the human health.
