RaysatRaySat’s will soon release the SpeedRay 3000, which uses a 5.7-inch satellite antenna to turn your car into a roving hotspot.

According to the Raystat, the roving hotspot system has the following specs:

- an outdoor satellite antenna unit,

- an indoor antenna,

- a satellite modem,

- a Wi-Fi router

- and a DBS satellite receiver.

The Wi-Fi router allows all passengers in the vehicle to share high-speed Internet access.

Priced at $6,995, it might be something the guys at Google would want to look at when they try to bring Wi-Fi to entire cities.
