SK Telecom has partnered with the LG Telecom to share fundamental wireless Internet services. SK telecom has allowed LG Telecom to use its platform T-PAK. Now LG Telecom can use those mobile phones, which are developed for SK Telecom. SK Telecom has signed an agreement with the LG Telecom to share its T-PAK, a mobile phone based on SK Telecom’s UI platform. Under this agreement, LG Telecom can use variety of services developed by SK Telecoms without paying any additional costs. Both companies are planning to introduce a mobile phone based on T-PAK platform by the end of the next year. While the SK Telecom will share its fundamental wireless services with LG Telecom to expand its services in overseas market. According to vice president of LG Telecom, Gang Moon-Seok, the company is committed for the development of the domestic wireless Internet industry through the expansion of next generation wireless platforms.
