SanDisk, flash memory card maker is bringing music services from Yahoo! for its customers. SanDisk has partnered with Yahoo! to bring Yahoo’s music service in its new MP3 player.

The company has launched new MP3 player, named Sansa Connect which will use Wi-Fi wireless connection to listen LAUNCHcast Internet radio and Yahoo’s! Internet radio stations and downloads songs from Yahoo! Music services. The Sansa Connect device allows its users to browse Flickr photos and see what Yahoo! Messenger friends and other Sansa Connect users are listening.

Users can access Yahoo’s free music services or its Yahoo Music Unlimited To Go subscription service with a single click of a button. Now, there is no need to refresh your music selection, Yahoo Music Unlimited To Go service will do this for you. Recently, announced Slacker Portable Player is offering same service at the half price ($7.50 per month). Both the Slacker player and the Sansa Connect can communicate with their respective services through wireless, but Sansa Connect only allows to select your own choice of songs.

SanDisk is No 2 maker of MP3 player behind Apple. The company is offering certain features in Sansa Connect like Internet radio from Yahoo! which are not available in iPod. SanDisk also supports music services, which are based on Microsoft’s Windows formats. When the 4 gigabyte Sansa Connect is not connected with Wi-Fi network, the MP3 player behaves like a traditional flash music player and can be connected to a personla computer. Users can play music and also view the photos stored on the player or on an optional microSD card. It also allows users to listen subscription music from any service using Microsoft’s PlaysForSure system. You can get this multi-purpose MP3 player in $250.
