People are using mobile phone for security capabilities. Now your mobile phone will read your fingetprints. Sharp has become the first manufacturer for using a VGA screen in mobile phones with its Vodafone Sharp 904SH clamshell. Now the company is hoping to update the VGA screen and turn mobile phone as finger print reader.
The company has developed the VGA touch screen at the Sharp European labs. The VGA screen has resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and runs at 30 frames per second. It has in-built image sensor, which can read your fingerprint.
The screen is fully integrated with a mobile phone to add touchscreen controls and biometric security. The fingerprint reading ability allows sharp to implement touchscreen-scrolling function on Apple iPhone.
