Creston has unveiled its new Lsys i/O™ TPMC-8X Wi-Fi Touch panel device that has some outstanding features. The device runs on a Windows XP OS, 802.11a/b/g capabilities, magnesium alloy casing which makes it the lightest, thinnest and the most durable touch panel available.

The device has a great looking 8.4′ SVGA screen that displays high quality images using 16-bit graphics that produce astonishing 3D graphics and streaming videos.

The device also has embedded Bluetooth® technology, Skype™, VoIP, AuthenTec biometric scanner, stereo speaker system and microphone under its hood.

The videos are streamed using Windows Media Player 10 and the Lsys i/O™ TPMC-8X also has full PC capabilities as it also features MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint® and Adobe® Acrobat® all in a secure environment of Windows XP.

In addition to a wide range of supported video formats the Lsys i/O™ TPMC-8X also features native support for videos from third-party devices such as a web cam. Customized WAV files can be loaded to the device to add some flavor to the touch screen graphics with personalized sounds, button feedback and voice prompts.

The biometric scanner also takes the security to a new dimension and just at the touch of a finger the device can configure itself according to the users preferences.
