Shinkansen bullet trains to have Wi-Fi facilityThe passengers who are traveling in famous Japanese Shinkansen ‘bullet trains’ will be able to access Internet while traveling at 300kph. But they to wait until the first wireless LAN train comes on the platform.



According to Central Japan Railway, that operates the Shinkansen service between Tokyo and the western Japanese city of Osaka, there is a plan to offer Wireless Internet service in all cars of its new N700-series trains.



The Internet service is supplied by a leaky coaxial cable that runs alongside the train tracks. A similar analog system is ready to provide basic communications and radio channel, which is re broadcast in the train. This new system is digital, which will carry internet traffic.



The upgraded communication will offer other benefits also. The internal mobile phone service is provided to driver and guard to speak with each other at any time.
