This blog by Todd actually took me a bit by surprise. You know why? Though, the radio ceasing to be the quintessential part of our lives (at least it had been until a few years back) it never died. Actually FM made people swing back towards the radio in the last 15 years or so.
Todd discusses that Chicago is leading the world in putting to rest the terrestrial radio by going wireless broadband citywide, which means 228 square miles of blanket broadband.
He thinks when such cheap citywide blanket broadband, who will have the friendly FM in the car when you can access streaming audio from all over the world?
Read what he says about radio here.
Thanks Todd
Is Wi-Fi making the radio history?
