D-Link has shown off its new creation the DSM-750 MediaLounge multimedia player. The player is compatible with 802.11n Wi-Fi that makes for the wireless connection between the devices.
The device allows you to stream internet radio and also has a support for all major audio and video formats. The main supported files are h.264 and VC-1. We all can assume that a full load of all other popular media formats are also supported by the device.
Other features of this amazing device are:
• Ethernet
• HDMI
• Component Video
• Digital Audio
• Composite A/V connectors
• USB 2.0 Interface
No more details on the pricing and the availability have been released by the company, but like all other gadgets we can assume that the device will hit the shelves sometime in the second quarter of 2007.

In general I like dsm-750 a lot. Still 3 major wishes:
1. d-sub or dvi output for pc monitor. Sometimes I’d like to use this equipment separately.
2. screen saver. Keeping receiver on all day long on mu plasma burs static characters in. I dont like it!
3. D-Link server software is too slow, If you have 5000+ tracks or so. In this case I recommend for example TwonkyMedia server.
