If you don’t want to miss any of your E-Mails even when onboard... Then I guess you should always board a Boeing or an Airbus.
There are two types of services Wi-Fi services which are customized for each provider. The first one is CONNEXION by Boeing and the second is OnAir by the Airbus. These services are provided by Satellite connections to these flying birds and these birds have an onboard internet wireless network.
The same sort of a service can be adopted by the continental US flights, known as cellular air-to-ground.
I recommend you to only board these flights, if you want to remain online even in air...!
